I have trained with Matej for about five years. During this time, I have come to know him
as a smart, friendly, patient, and thoughtful trainer who genuinely listens to his clients
and continuously seeks to improve himself. Matej puts real effort into designing the best
possible training program for each individual. Since starting his physiotherapy studies, he
has gained even more insight into coaching.
In training sessions, he pushes you to achieve the best performance you’re capable of at
that moment—not more, but also not less. He always encourages you, especially when you feel
like you didn’t do as well as you hoped. If you’re looking for a trainer whose sessions
leave you going home with sore abs (either from laughing or from core exercises—sometimes
both), but always in a better mood than when you arrived, Matej is the right choice!

I grew up in a training environment where critique was the main method of coaching, so I
tend to focus on flaws and shortcomings in everything I do. The most valuable thing I’ve
gained from Matej’s coaching is the opportunity to train under an accepting and supportive
approach—and to recognize the immense power of encouragement.
I have learned that while it’s important to face the facts and be ambitious, focusing
on strengths and positive reinforcement often leads to much greater progress than criticism
ever could. And the best part? This lesson applies not just to training, but to life as a
whole!

Matej takes care of my well-being and work capacity by coaching me in skills where my
progress has been incredible—things I never even knew I could do.
Beyond maintaining physical fitness, Matej is incredibly friendly and, perhaps without even
realizing it, contributes not only to muscle recovery but also to mental well-being!

I have been training with Matej for about 12 years. He is very people-oriented and present
in every session. Interacting with him is always rewarding. Matej takes care of the whole
person—both body and mind!
His professionalism is reflected in his genuine interest, solution-focused approach,
excellent coaching skills, encouragement, motivation, support, acceptance, and flexibility
in training times, locations, and methods.
I feel truly fortunate to have met a coach like Matej!

Since movement is essential for older individuals as well, I started going to the gym
towards the end of the last decade to maintain my mobility and quality of life. When my
first trainer moved on to other work about four years ago, he recommended Matej to me. Since
then, Matej has kept me moving during our regular sessions. We don’t just lift heavy
weights, but the focus is largely on stretching, balance exercises, and strength training
using my own body weight. Of course, every now and then we lift weights too, but in
moderation. During the sessions, we also talk about everyday matters, and often we solve
some of my IT-related problems as well. I can sincerely recommend Matej’s services to both
younger and older individuals—he is a professional, punctual coach, and a pleasant person.

I’ve been training with Matej for over 12 years now, and I still plan to continue on this
path.
Over the years, Matej has made me fall in love with exercise again. He excels at
motivating, guiding, and challenging me in various ways, always in line with our shared
goals and with safety in mind. Our sessions have included amazing workouts—sometimes
nurturing both body and mind, and other times pushing my physical endurance almost to its
limits.
All in all, I deeply appreciate Matej’s holistic coaching style.

Before meeting Matej, I was quite skeptical about personal trainers. The reason was a bad
experience a couple of years earlier when a PT failed to consider my needs. Matej’s approach
turned out to be very different—he was genuinely interested in hearing my wishes. It quickly
became clear that he’s always eager to learn new ways to help his clients. My own need has
been focused on improving muscle strength. Somehow, Matej has managed to motivate me to
attend weekly sessions, even though I’m still not particularly enthusiastic about strength
training. I’ve been able to trust that the goals for each session are tailored to what I can
handle that day. Now, with over five years of training behind me, there’s no end in sight!
