What I’m like as a coach

Currently, I offer individual and small-group training sessions at the gym, outdoors, at the client's home, or remotely via platforms like Teams. My clients range from beginners to seasoned fitness enthusiasts of all ages. If needed, I can also assist clients in getting to their training location.

My coaching philosophy focuses on holistic well-being: sufficient sleep, regular exercise, and proper nutrition are key components. I also emphasize the importance of slowing down, relaxation, and achieving balance between mind and body, as well as fostering a connection with nature. Clear goals help clients progress towards improved self-image and overall well-being.

Since movement is essential for older individuals as well, I started going to the gym towards the end of the last decade to maintain my mobility and quality of life. When my first trainer moved on to other work about four years ago, he recommended Matej to me. Since then, Matej has kept me moving during our regular sessions. We don’t just lift heavy weights, but the focus is largely on stretching, balance exercises, and strength training using my own body weight. Of course, every now and then we lift weights too, but in moderation. During the sessions, we also talk about everyday matters, and often we solve some of my IT-related problems as well.
